Stopping Obama’s Attack Dog From Framing Paul Ryan

The Obama campaign has unleashed its Democratic attack dogs in an attempt to discredit Paul Ryan.

Among the nastiest is Congressman Gerry Connolly, a liberal Democrat from Northern Virginia.

Connolly has been named to Obama’s “Truth Squad,” a group of partisan Democrats who attack Republican candidates and bipartisan initiatives.  As of this weekend, Paul Ryan is Connolly’s new target.

Connolly has been making the rounds within the beltway political press corps to discredit Paul Ryan.  Connolly has called Ryan a “radical” who aims to destroy our country’s social safety net and replace it with “social Darwinism.”  The problem is that the news outlets are running with Connolly’s negative description of Paul Ryan.

The good news is that we can stop Gerry Connolly from attacking Paul Ryan by funding his Republican challenger.

In 2010, Connolly won his re-election by less than 1,000 votes.  He has an “F” from the National Tax Payers Union and is a true-blooded liberal.  There is no doubt that Connolly is vulnerable to a strong Republican challenger like retired Army Colonel Chris Perkins.

Stop Gerry Connolly from attacking Paul Ryan by giving $45, $65, $105, or more TODAY.  Funding Connolly’s Republican opponent will force Connolly to focus on his own race and stop attacking Paul Ryan.

Taking Down Obamacare After the Supreme Court Ruling

The Supreme Court upheld Obamacare’s constitutionality. That makes this election all the more important.

We must now band together, and defeat Congressmen who are standing in the way of overturning the law that penalizes hardworking Americans and inserts government between you and your doctor.

This is a truly historic moment, not because the Supreme Court decision but because the fight to repeal and replace the law has just now begun.

The next step is to defeat Obamacare in Congress.

One of our top targets is liberal Congressman Gerry Connolly, one of Obama’s chief architects of the liberal agenda. Connolly has repeatedly protected Obamacare saying that “it’s not really up to the Supreme Court to second-guess the legitimate decision made by the elected representatives of the people, and if people want to change that law, they can do so by changing the legislators.”

Connolly is wrong on Obamacare and the duty of the Supreme Court, but he’s right about one thing: we have to replace Congressmen who oppose overturning the law.

You can help defeat Gerry Connolly be immediately donating to Republican Chris Perkins. A donation of $100 or even $50 will help Republicans take on Connolly and deprive Democrats of one of the strongest proponents of the health care law.

Make a difference and join the fight today by contributing to the campaign to oust Gerry Connolly today.

Maine Senate - Bruce Poliquin

Olympia Snowe has been identified as one of the most liberal Republicans in the U.S. Senate time and time again.  But, now she’s retiring complaining that the Senate is no longer friendly to moderates like her.  The truth is that Snowe was the vote that sent Obamacare to the floor of the Senate, where is passed.  Obama even thanked her in his speech that night.

This opening has given the people of Maine an excellent opportunity to replace a go-to vote for Democrats and President Obama with an Honest Conservative.

Bruce Poliquin is a fiscal conservative through and through.  He was elected to be the state’s Treasurer when conservative Governor Paul LePage was elected in 2010.  Since taking office, Poliquin has been responsible for historic reforms to how the state spends money.

Poliquin eliminated $1.7 billion of the state’s public pension debt, reducing future state government spending by $200 million per year. The spending drop allowed the state to then pass the largest tax cut in Maine history.

The good news doesn’t stop there.  Poliquin has worked to expose wasteful spending in multiple state agencies including finding significant waste at the Maine Turnpike Authority and at the Maine State Housing Authority.

Poliquin’s candidacy for U.S. Senate is being endorsed by Honest Conservatives like Senator Mike Lee (UT), FreedomWorks, and Concerned Women for America.

It is our great honor to endorse Bruce Poliquin for U.S. Senate in the state of Maine!

Please help replace Olympia Snowe with an Honest Conservative by giving to Bruce Poliquin’s campaign.

Utah Senate - Dan Liljenquist

Dan Liljenquist is running against 30 plus year incumbent Orrin Hatch with the backing of Tea Party and other conservative organizations in Utah.  Much like many long time Senators, Hatch went to Washington to do the bidding of the people of Utah and became trapped in the power structure, often more concerned with his own advancement than towing a solidly conservative line.

Hatch (like Dick Lugar) has a long record of playing both sides of the aisle on 2nd Amendment rights and has displayed a pattern of siding with unions and liberal special interest groups to make sure he is not in their sights during the general election. Hatch currently holds a 53% rating from the NAACP and 45% rating for SEIU, the same group organizing and funding the violent ‘Occupy movement’.

By contrast Liljenquist is a problem solver with real experience in the private sector.  After serving as CEO at several successful companies, Liljenquist went on to the Utah State Senate in 2008 where he took on the unions that Hatch was lackeying for.  Liljenquist held the line on government spending earning him the Tax Payer Advocate Award in both 2010 and 2011.

We enthusiastically endorse Dan Liljenquist for United States Senator from Utah.  He faces an uphill battle against Hatch in the primary.  Please give at least $100 to Dan so he can be competitive on TV against Hatch in the coming weeks.

Missouri Senate – John Brunner

In the race to replace Claire McCaskill, Tea Party favorite and Honest Conservative John Brunner deserves to be sent to Washington. Brunner has a deep understanding of economics, and how to get the economy moving again.

Like Richard Mourdock, Brunner realizes that the key to getting the economy moving again isn’t more cooperation and more bills passed, it’s simply less taxes and less spending.

Brunner is also a former Marine Corps infantry officer.  In addition to his economic understand, Brunner has demonstrated he has a great understanding of the agriculture which makes up a large part of the state’s economy – leading him to receive major agriculture endorsements.

John Brunner is an Honest Conservative and thusly receives our endorsement.

Brunner is running in what could be the 51st Senate seat for Republicans.  Please consider giving him a donation today.

Georgia 6th Congressional District – Wright McLeod

Wright McLeod is an educated and accomplished conservative with a Master’s degree from Georgetown University and a law degree from University of Georgia.  McLeod is also a veteran who attended the Naval Academy and served in the Persian Gulf war.  McLeod spent his career as a small business owner in Georgia and understands that government stands in the way of business.

McLeod has been a phenomenal judge who has kept a strict interpretation of the constitution, and obviously has a clear understanding of the founder’s intent.  McLeod has not been ashamed to speak out on ObamaCare, both its unconstitutionality and it’s impracticality which has earned him the endorsement of Freedom Works PAC.

We enthusiastically endorse Wright McLeod for Congress in Georgia’s 6th Congressional District.

Make sure to send Wright at least a $55 contribution before the end of May!

Virginia Senate – George Allen

Former Senator and Governor George Allen is running for election to his old seat, a seat he lost to Jim Webb in 2006 after a video went viral of the then Senator exchanging words with a democratic tracker.   Allen has a consistently conservative record. While in the Senate he was a reliable vote for Republican leadership.  George Allen was also one of the better Governors Virginia has ever seen.  During his one term tenure in the office, Governor Allen reformed welfare, made government more efficient and eliminated parole making the streets safer for Virginia families.

While Allen did vote for some increases in government spending while in the Senate, and is not the most Conservative candidate in the Primary field – he is the only Conservative with real qualifications and a chance of winning in November.  Jamie Radtke a Tea Party favorite has really no qualifications to speak of what so ever and has failed to mount any sort of a serious campaign, with both fundraising and grass roots operations meager at best.

Delegate Bob Marshall has also recently entered the race, and while he does have some qualifications such as his long service in the General Assembly in Richmond, but much like Radtke he has yet to mount much of a serious candidacy which leaves many to wonder if he won the primary would he be capable of taking on Democratic power house Tim Kaine.

Thusly the most qualified conservative and our endorsee is George Allen.

As always, please send a donation to George as he will face an expensive general election.

Nebraska Senate – Jon Bruning

From his time in the State Senate until now, Jon Bruning has fought for Nebraskans.  In the State Senate Bruning authored legislation to extend college loans, allowing students hard hit by the recession to remain in class and graduate with their compatriots. As the Attorney General Bruning sued over ObamaCare as part of a 26 state coalition.  Bruning has also made the right to life a front and center issue in his campaign, as an unabashed defender of human life.

While there are other conservatives in the primary, hoping to replace Ben Nelson it seems many of them are opportunists seeing an easy path to the U.S. Senate now that Nelson has announced his retirement.  Nelson was favored to win re-election, but with him out and former Senator, Governor and current carpet bagger Bob Kerrey in and fresh off the plane from New York this race looks like an easy win for Republicans.

Jon Bruning will serve Nebraskans well. Honest Conservative proudly endorses Jon Bruning for United States Senate.

Go here to donate to Bruning so we can bring another Honest Conservative to the U.S. Senate!

Utah 4th Congressional District – Mia Love

In November 2011, Mia Love filed to run for Utah’s newly formed 4th Congressional District, Mia is a first generation American whose parents legally immigrated here with only 10 dollars, but instilled in their daughter a strong work ethic and conservative principles. Mia served on the City Council of Saratoga Springs and then served as the Mayor there.  During her tenure the city saw a 1,700% growth in population and with that came a restructuring of the government over seen by Mia.

In her final years as Mayor the city faced a huge economic down turn and Mia responded by responsibly cutting vast amounts of spending that wasn’t essential to keep the government solvent and moving in the right direction.  As Mayor she led the city to receive one of the highest ratings from Standard and Poors, at a time when most cities were being down-graded.

Mia is not only an ideological full stripe conservative, but has put these beliefs into practice through her experience and is ready to bring that experience to Washington DC.

Mia Love is an Honest Conservative and receives our full endorsement.

Mia needs to show the world that she can raise more money!  Please go here to give her a generous donation!

Maryland Senate – Dan Bongino

Dan Bongino is a former Secret Service agent and small business owner. Bongino has clearly stated he supports the immediate repeal of Obama Care, lower taxes and less regulation and unlike many other Republican candidates in the Democratic leaning state, he hasn’t been afraid to proudly state his social conservative beliefs.  He is pro-traditional marriage, and pro-life although not making those issues center pieces in his campaign, as well he shouldn’t.

Bongino has captured the hearts of Tea Party activists and built a grass roots army behind him, whereas Bongino’s nearest Republican challenger Richard Douglas has focused on courting endorsements in DC.  Douglas did receive former Ambassador John Bolton’s endorsement, but Bongino’s true conservative beliefs and grass roots momentum has paid off in the endorsements of Senator Mike Lee, Congressman Joe Walsh, and a host of State Senators, Delegates, and other Maryland elected officials.

We are proud to endorse the grass roots campaign of Dan Bongino for the United States Senate.  Bongino faces an expensive race to November.  Please consider sending him a few hundred bucks.
